I initially tried Orthotebb Health Shoes because
they were so much more reasonable than MBTs but now that I've been wearing them for a while I can honestly say that I prefer
them to MBTs.
If sketchers are a "0" and MBTs are a "1" on a scale of 1-3 (1 being
the least and 3 being the most), grading the amount of muscle use I feel when wearing instability shoes then Orthotebb clogs
are a "2" and Orthotebb sandals are a "3".
Orthotebb Health Shoes work by pulling your center of gravity 3 centimeters
(just over an inch) in front of your navel. This realigns your posture and your spine. When I stand in my Orthotebb Health
Shoes my shoulders roll open, my shoulder blades drop down my back. My tailbone drops into neutral which
takes the pressure off my lower back.
According to the Orthtebb site the clogs double
the caloric burn of walking, while the sandals triple it. I believe this as I've lost weight since I began wearing them regularly.
If you're too shy to wear them in public you can take advantage of
them by wearing them around the house like slippers. One of my clients gave her sister a pair of sandals as a gift to wear
while she cleans the house. My coworker and her daughters wear them like house slippers.
Personally I love to wear my sandals with skorts because they show off leg
definition because your leg muscles are working as you walk.
